Installing a Home Security System Makes You Feel More Secure

By Lara | July 14, 2009

Well, at least it makes ME feel more secure! :D We have been shopping around for a home security company to install a new system into our home. I am looking into ADT home security. They say that ADT is America’s leading home security company.

All I know is that having a home security system these days is a comfort. I can sleep easier knowing that my kids, home and animals will be safe from potential intruders! Obviously, a home security system is not full proof…nothing is. However, having one installed in your home is a sure fire way to not only prevent an invasion all together, it also deters most robbers from even considering your home an option!

One of the main reasons I am considering ADT is because over 131 years, they have been one of the most respected names in the security business.

They also offer a FREE home security evaluation, Theft Protection GuaranteeĀ  Pays your insurance deductible (up to $500) in the event of a burglary (see their notes about this and other offers), while your alarm system is armed, a free newsletter and many other positive things that make me want to go with them!

Anyway, I would love to hear your thoughts on home security as well…

We use ADT, and we’ve had no issues with them. One feature we have is wireless security. We don’t have a home phone, so there was no physical phone line for the alarm to connect to. I highly recommend this feature because it means even if the bad guys cut your phone lines, ADT will still get a call when the alarm goes off.
