I would like to introduce myself to you as the new owner of ThouShaltClean! My name is Shannon and I am a work-at-home mother of six children. Just typing that makes me exhausted, but I’m here to tell you that even though you have kids, even though you have pets, even though you have a husband and even though you have a job-your house can still be clean! I’m living proof of that.

It’s all about baby steps, baby, and I’m here to inspire you, challenge you and inform you. Let’s face it, no matter how the cookie crumbles (and it crumbles often at my house!) cleaning is not fun. I’m not here to flower it up, make it seem easy, help you try to enjoy it, blah-blah-blah. I’m here to help you get your house cleaning done as quickly and effectively as possible so that you can have more time to enjoy the finer and “funner” things in life.

New Challenge!!! Your NIGHTMARE closet!!!

Well, I am ready for some more punishment!! I really want my WHOLE house clean!! OK, so our next challenge will be your nightmare closet!! We all have one. Mine is the master bedroom. I can here the physco music. Yours may be the pantry…YOU know!

I want to encourage you all to participate.

EMBARRASSMENT Time! Livingroom Challenge – Update! ROFL!

OK, so this is REALLY embarrassing! LOL! You should be ashamed of yourself if you are not participating! ROFL!

Before I share my pics…LOL…please try and get involved with these challenges. Take before and after pics! Post your progress on your blog with a link back to the challenge so that ALL can benefit from my…er…OUR embarrassment! LOL!

MY LIVINGROOM BEFORE AND AFTER:

ACK! What a MESS!

ROFL! Do you notice the “drapes” hanging on the side?? LOL! Those are couch covers that have been there since BEFORE my vacation! AHHHHHHHHHH!

More messies!

YEAH! The “drapes” are gone and where they belong…ON the couches! LOL!

A little blurry, but you get the point…CLEAN!

WHOO HOO! CLEAN Shelves!! WOW! I can’t believe I DID that!

NO covers…and a MESS!

These are the goodies I found under and in the couch! ICK! I will let you use your imagination for the love seat! ROFL!

Ahhh! No junk INSIDE OR OUTSIDE…just clean and nice smelling! (sorry it’s a little dark…I did not feel like retaking and reloading…LOL…I did enough work for one day! LOL!)

Junk on the End Table…ICK was on it under the mess too…BLECH!

Ah! How nice. All my hard work has paid off!

OK…I also thought you should see an update from the Office Challenge…as you can see below, I have kept it up pretty well!

Weekly Challenge – REDO

LOL! OK…Obviously, there has been things in the way of the weekly challenge…HOWEVER, if my readers are like me…they have not done it anyway! LOL! So, we are going to begin the weekly challenge again and update next Monday (Oct 29). So…wipe that dust off your cleaners and get busy!

This Week’s Challenge:

Clean your Living room or family room. Dig out those toys, remotes, and junk from the couches. Vacuum UNDER and BEHIND things. Dust those many dust bunnies that should be paying rent by now! Do a DEEP clean of your living/family room.

I will post my EMBARRASSING before and after pics at the end of the challenge. LOL!
