Whew! This bathroom is UNorganized!

Well, my bathroom is a harder job than I expected it to be. I found more junk in my linen closet than should be allowed. LOL. I had things I did not even know I had…and more soap pars and pads then any woman should have under normal circumstances!

The cleaning part is complete. The emptying is complete….albeit all the stuff I am keeping is lingering on my dining room table and in two boxes.

Next step. Organize it all!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Let the Cleaning Begin…or so I thought!

OK, so I have enlisted DH to help me get this house in order. I literally had a melt down last night …tears… crazy laughter… MELT DOWN! And, unfortunately for my beloved family, there was no chocolate in the house for them to save themselves with…LOL. The wrath of Mom was in full force!

He was like sure baby. Whatever you need.

Fast forward to this moment…

He calls me to tell me he has to take the car to the shop. The battery died. And, while he’s there he may as well get the oil changes…blah blah blah!

Soooooooo…..

My supposed first day of “2 hours a day will get the messies away” program is not going to begin today!

Why don’t I just get into the trenches without him?

Well…

I am out numbered by children…messie…whiny children who will do like they do everyday…LOL…break me down. Demolish my defenses and nothing will get done except more messies and giggles!

AHHH!

I need chocolate…NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

To get my bedroom clean. It is SO depressing. LOL. It is also very overwhelming. How do I … no WHY do I let it get so bad. There must be some flaw in my personality…It must be that creative part of me. LOL. Ya know, artists are complicated creatures. At least that’s what they tell me.

I want to be rich and hire a maid!

Ah, but, who knows if that will ever happen. Guess I better put the chocolate away and get cleaning!

Another Day of NO bedroom cleaning went by

LOL. OK, so, I still have not even started my dreaded bedroom. DH is so sweet. However, I can tell it is not his favorite thing about me! My dresser messies have begun to merge into his area of the room. LOL! I am migrating my mess!

The poor organized man. How did he wound up with a messie like me. I have taken over his neat areas. He only has his drawers now. LOL!

Speaking of drawers, I HAVE found a way into his bathroom drawer already! ROFLMBO! Hopefully I can be strong and keep my panties out if his drawers!

OK, off to clean…yeah right…you know I am going to go look for that chocolate bar!

And I became overwhelmed. I am not sure where the messies come from. Maybe, there is a name for it like everything else. Maybe it’s a syndrome. LOL. Maybe a little green pill can help me be organized! Of course that would mean a gazillion other side affects that may not be worth it! Ah, well, I guess I will have to overcome this horrid phenomenon the old fashioned way…sweat, perseverance and hard work! Blech!

My Cleaning Woes, part one

OK, so as many of you may have guessed, I am organizationally challenged. I really want to be one of those seat people. You know the ones that you can show up at their house ANY time and it’s clean. The ones that if they have one dish in the sink, they are “sorry” for the mess. LOL! I always tell them, I’ll trade ya my mess for yours ANY day of the week!

I am the type of person who hates when I have to carpool. I am always “planning ahead.” I think to myself, “What if they need to use the bathroom when they come to pick me up?” Then I hear the theme song from psycho. LOL!!! You know what I am talking about, don’t you? Anyone? Am I alone in this? I already have my excuse in play. LOL!

Let me tell you…I need help…seriously. LOL!

OK, so yesterday began the “bedroom challenge.” ROFLMBO! Have I started? Uh, not! Will I today? I hope so! Do I want to…yes and no. I am not giving dates anymore. I always fail. So, we will be on the bedroom challenge until your untidy leader gets her act together!

Bedroom Challenge – Completed – And I am SO EMBARRASSED!

OK, this is SOOOOOOOOOOO embarrassing! I feel SO ashamed!!! HOW do I let it get so bad??? When I looked at my room before I began to even clean, I wanted to cry. I mean, honestly, there is NO excuse to let a room get so bad! And, this is not even the worst room in my house.

OK, well, I really can NOT believe that I do this to myself…ROFL. I mean I MUST be nuts to share these pics!!!!!

Before and After Pictures of the Master Bedroom Cleaning Challenge:

OK, this is a picture of what is SUPPOSED to be my NEAT DH’s dresser. However, I am sure you can see I have hijaked it with the messies!

This is what it SHOULD look like! DH is going to be SOOOOOO happy!! The little box on the white dresser are things I found that are his…ROFLMBO!

This is a picture of our tall dresser/chest and what lurks beside it. Also, note the arrow. That is wrapping paper from LAST Christmas!!!!

My DH LOVES uncluttered flat surfaces! I had to add SOME stuff…but tried to keep them as clear as possible. Note how clean the side of the dresser is! I hope he likes them!!

Just LOOK at the MASS of clothes!!! No wonder I can never FIND anything to wear!! ACK!!!!

Ahhh, I am STUNNED at how NEAT it looks! And look at the nice bed through the mirror!!! WHOO HOO! And, my clothes are NEATLY placed in their drawers!!

These are before pictures of what you can see of the floor. I wonder what my cat is thinking??? I know I am like…AHHHHHHHHHHHH! (The after pics of floor can be seen in all after pics.)

These are on and around my bed before cleaning. I do not know how we even found the bed each night!

My side of the bed. CLEAN floor! No junk. And, NO MORE Christmas wrapping paper!

DH’s side of bed. Note the arrows. Those items will be put in the closet. However, THAT is a WHOLE other challenge! ROFL! So, DH, said thy can stay their temporarily!

Ahhh…is all I have to say.

ROFLMBO! Do you SEE the DUST??? YUCK! I am SO ashamed!

OK, there you go…I hope this helps YOU realize that if you are a messie, you are NOT the only one and there ARE worse messies out there! AND…that you CAN get it clean!!!

EMBARRASSMENT Time! Livingroom Challenge – Update! ROFL!

Mount Wash Me

Do any of you struggle with the never ending mountain of laundry? It’s like every time I think I have it under control, I see that I really have NO control! And what about the socks??? WHERE do they go?? LOL! I mean no matter HOW hard I try, there are ALWAYS single socks with no mates….

Speaking of mates, I just cannot get the man’s smelly work shirts to not have SOME mild smell in the under arm area. LOL! I mean I do it all…the soak with THREE different cleansers…the LONG wash with THREE different cleansers…and I finish it off with the FOUR dryer sheet drying time! AHHHHH! He should bottle whatever it is that comes out of his pits! LOL! We could REALLY get a handle on terrorism with the strength of my wonderful husband’s under armor! OK, OK, sorry…LOL…I LOVE my husband. However I do NOT love washing his work clothes!

Then there’s the teenager! LOL! My goodness! WHERE ARE her clothes??? She complains about having NO clean clothes. They are always MIA when I begin a load. I even make the announcement…”I am washing clothes! If you want something washed, NOW is the time!” She comes waltzing into the laundry room with ONE shirt, a bra, and a pair of panties! LOL! AHHHHHH!

Do you think I will ever have NO laundry??? LOL! What about you? Does your mountain ever shrink??
